Learn how to photograph people up close, without feeling awkward.
Taught by Liam Giuliani
Maybe you've always wanted to photograph India, but not on your own. This is a small group trip, max 6 people, and I'll be guiding you the whole way. Kolkata is chaotic, and that's exactly why it's better together.
Every day follows the same simple program.

Each day I will host a photography workshop, going over important concepts within street photography.

Then we head straight out and use it on the streets, with me beside you.

We will then have a group Lightroom editing session, where I take you through my full editing workflow on your photos.

I've spent over ten years photographing people around the world. Almost all my favourite shots came from getting close with a prime lens.
I keep the group small so I can be next to you on every walk, giving you constant feedback.
@7th.eraHere's a taste of what we'll be shooting.
Everything is covered from the moment you land in India.
"I think you'd learn more on one of his tours than in a year at photography school."
I joined Liam on his tour in Vietnam for ten days, and I came back with a completely different way of looking at photography.
The biggest lesson for me was that photography isn't about shooting thousands of frames, it's about shooting the ones you actually feel are good. Liam taught me to be precise: look for subjects that separate from the background, and find angles that feel a little different from the obvious shot.
Even more valuable was learning to slow down. When you see something, don't just shoot and spray. Step back, take it in, think about it, and then shoot. That habit alone has changed how I work.
To be honest, I think you'd learn more on one of his tours than in a year at photography school. Liam is patient, honest and generous with what he knows, and I'd recommend his tours to anyone who wants to grow, not just take more pictures.
"Spending 10 days with Liam, I have learnt more than I could learn by myself, in over 10 years."
Liam is one of those people, who at a young age, fell deep down a rabbit hole of skill and practice of a thing, that they've long forgotten how they even got there. I'm speaking of the mastery and intuitive skill in handling a camera, capturing an image, and making you feel a moment, that is photography.
Spending 10 days with Liam, I have learnt more than I could learn by myself, in over 10 years.
More than a holiday, the stunning landscapes and sunsets, experiencing northern Vietnamese culture, or the food, it was the opportunity to spend 10 days inside Liam's mind and a glimpse of seeing through his eyes, that made this trip worthwhile.
Photography is a hobby and my intention for joining Liam's tour, was simply to learn how to tell a clearer story with a photograph. I now find myself seeing scenes and moments in a different way, and thinking more intuitively about what the moment is that I'm capturing, what should be included and excluded from a scene, how it should be framed and where I should be positioned, which aperture and shutter speed will best convey the moment, and waiting for the composition elements to find their place before clicking.
One day, I hope to join Liam to shoot again in another city. When a student is eager to show his teacher how far they've come, because of them.
"Being with an experienced photographer like Liam, you learn so much. If you're doubting coming, you should just book and come."
This week has been the most impactful week I've had in many years. I got a new taste for photography. Something I thought I liked, but now I think it's something I really can do and want to strive for doing full time.
Being with experienced photographers like Liam, you learn so much. He pushed me a lot, especially to post more, because I really hadn't posted anything before I came here. Since starting posting, I've noticed my follower count and the feedback on my work has become a lot more frequent.
What I was hoping for when I booked the tour was the feeling of it being worth it, and it totally exceeded that. I not only got to see beautiful places in the world, but also properly take my time and document them.
Now I have great memories documented for the rest of my life, and also work that can benefit my career as well.
If you're doubting coming, you should just book and come. If you don't do it, you're going to miss out on a lot of stuff.
"Liam created such a great environment for everyone to learn, create, and push each other. I'd say 100% do it."
My trip to Vietnam with 7th.era was genuinely one of the most inspiring experiences I've had in a long time.
From the beginning, everything was super organized, which made it really easy to just focus on creating, exploring, and being fully present. Every day felt intentional, and the locations gave us so many opportunities to capture incredible photos and moments I'll remember forever.
What made the trip even more special was the group. Liam, who put the trip together, created such a great environment for everyone to learn, create, and push each other. Spending the week with Liam and Geir felt less like being on a regular photography trip and more like being surrounded by people who genuinely understood the same creative drive. The camaraderie between us made the whole experience even better.
I came into the trip wanting to create, but I left feeling more inspired than ever. One of the videos I made during the trip ended up hitting 16 million views, which is still insane to think about. But honestly, beyond the numbers, the biggest thing I took away was the friendships, the memories, and the feeling of being completely locked in creatively.
Vietnam gave us unbelievable scenes, 7th.era gave us the structure to make the most of them, and the people on the trip made it unforgettable. I left with incredible photos, lifelong friends, and memories I'll carry with me forever.
If you're considering booking a trip with 7th.era, I'd say 100% do it. It's not just a photography trip, it's an experience that can seriously push you creatively and personally.
